Welcome to
the Sendai Kaleidoscope Museum

A hands-on museum where you can
""See, Touch, and Create""

The Sendai Kaleidoscope Museum is located at the entrance of the Akiu Onsen area.
Opened in August 1999, our goal is to share the beauty of kaleidoscopes with as many people as possible.
Our exhibits change with the seasons, offering a fresh experience throughout the year.
You can also enjoy works by pioneering female ceramic artist Teruko Tsuji.
The first floor features a museum shop and a hands-on workshop, while the second and third floors house exhibition rooms.
This interactive museum allows you to see, touch, and even create your own kaleidoscope.
